We believe that no show should be entertaining without imparting some useful wisdom, and likewise, no programme should ever be too factual without being enjoyable to watch. Everything touched by Kalel Productions, from comedy to formatted ob-docs, has these two qualities in abundance.
Kalel Productions Ltd was set up by Nick Parnes in 2005.

Nick Parnes – Creative Head
Nick is the man behind all Kalel Productions’ hit series. He was Head of Development for MTV Emerging Markets, exec’ing all the department’s productions before setting up Kalel Productions in 2005. After cutting his teeth in the late 90’s producing and directing long-form features and live performances at MTV, he went on to produce for several ground-breaking production companies. He’s worked on all levels of a production from runner to exec. Some of the shows he’s created for the major networks can be seen below…
Swag
Nick was series director on Swag for the first and second series for FIVE. He helped write and direct the stunts, create the links, and played a key role in the team for this Monkey TV production.
Popworld
Nick produced the VT’s on Popworld in the days of Simon and Miquita for At It Productions, and has since produced several music-orientated shows for Channel 4, FIVE, MTV, and Emap.
